Elmo Studios is a multidisciplinary Architecture and Interiors practice based in New York. Working across high-end residential, retail, and hospitality projects – the studio is dedicated to creating timeless spaces of sophistication and sensitivity. With a keen sense of materiality and rigorous attention to detail, each project is uniquely crafted to address its specific context, program, and end user. The resulting spaces are original, refined, and thoughtfully curated to reflect their distinctive identity. While it can be said that design is constantly recycled, the studio seeks to question rather than take for granted each element of a project as an opportunity to innovate.

Elmo Studios offers a full range of services including ground-up architecture, interiors, and furniture.  The studio believes in a holistic approach to design in which the architecture and interiors are carried out in complete synchronicity.  

Elmo studios is led was founded by Danielle Schwartz.

Danielle is an Architect and Designer born and raised in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture from Yale University. Before founding the studio, Danielle worked on a wide range of projects at distinguished international firms, including Kelly Wearstler, Ike Kligerman Barkley, Snarkitecture, Bureau Betak, and Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
